If it charges fine, don't worry. Charging is about current, not voltage. If
the battery has low internal resistance (a good thing), the charge voltage
will be lower than with an old, high-resistance, tired battery.
Raising the voltage will probably boil the battery as well as prematurely
burning out your lights. My opinion, of course :-)
