A thought on the brakes.  The front brakes are dimensionally the same as the 
brakes on the XKE (top speed 150mph) and the Cobra (Do I need to go there?)  
The rear brakes being drums are not a big loss in braking power for the 
street.

Oh yeah, the 350 in your car was never a runner - it was test fitted and 
that is where development stopped - or so I was told.
