Hi Mike,
Couldn't prove it by me. This is the first time in 30 years that I've so
much as walked into a radiator shop.
The man at the shop said "The header was cracked and can not be reliable
repaired. It is the part that the tubes are soldered to and had a crack down
the center." What he told me today is about as much as I know about radiator
construction.
Anyway, a new core is on the way and it should be ready next week. Here's
hoping!
