Hey Grant, Andrew and other 1500 owners,
Why can't you change out the whole rear end for a 1600? Is it because of the
13 inch wheels? I know I don't know a thing about 1500's, but I'm curious as
to why this wouldn't be the best fix.

Subject: 1500 Diff
Hi List
I sold my 64 1500 to a friend of mine, he was happier than anything with the
purchase, and I was happy to get rid of the car. Right from the start the
car
was missing a tooth in the differential and just this weekend the diff
completely went down. Now my friend has a new toy that can only make lots of
noise, won't go anywhere.
Question - is there a differential that will just bolt in or will he have to
go to one of the suppliers for a new one. I told him to phone Ross at Sports
Imports but he's out of town for a few days.
My friend's not concerned about originality (and if you remember pics of the
1500 I was selling, you can see why) he just wants to get it running before
the summer is over.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
