Ron,
The 1200/B210 transmission (used with the A12... A14
motors) was a common swap for Sprites & Midgets. Sorry
I don't have more technical information on using them,
but do recall more than one "spridget" running those
transmissions.
Also there was a company that made a kit to match
up the MGB motor with the Z transmission! Rivergate
was either the company or place they were located
(It has been a while, but maybe spotted something
in Grass Roots Motorsport years back).
