Go to http://www.tirerack.com/tires/SearchTires.jsp and put in the tire size.
There are 54 choices in 185/70-14. However none of them are what I would
consider performance tires.
But there are a few good choices in 195/60-14, like the Yokohama AVS
Intermediate, which is what I'm running.

Subject: Need new tires - what can I use?
The tires on my '68 2000 are dropping air pressure, probably dry-rot from
too little use before I got her a couple of months ago. They are P185/70 R14
Hoosiers, mounted on American Racing Libra wheels. So far I'm not coming up
with a lot of options in that size, and was wondering what other sizes can
be used without scrubbing up against the fenders. I'm mainly intersted in
dry traction, as I have not installed a top on the car. Any input would be
greatly appreciated.
