Dearest List,
In preperation for a couple of upcoming events (Autocrossing on Sunday,
and hooking up with TDROC/WYCROC in Durango on Aug 1st), I decided to
re-touque my head, and check the valve adjustments on my 67.5 1600.
No prob re-touquing (thanks for the previous posts). I was getting ready
to check the valve adjustments, and noticed I had a loose nut on one the
studs holding the rocker arm assembly. Turns out that the head (aluminum)
is stripped where the stud screws in.
Any tips on fixing this, hopefully without pulling the head???
