You're right. The diagram identifies it as a head lamp relay. I don't seem
to have this in my car. Either that or I am drawing a blank. I have the
parts but the car itself is now at the body shop. The hi/lo beam switch I
have was located on the left firewall area like most late 1960's cars. Are
you sure yours is on the steering column?

I did not find the matching color coded wires anywhere, but, they may exist.
I purchased the correct guage of wire in the solid color. I then purchased
a marker tape dispenser w/ over a dozen colors. I have been attaching them
to the wire to reflect the colored stripe that completes the identity on the
wiring diagram. They seem to stick really well as I have tried to remove a
few. I bought the tape dispenser at Ackland-Granger in Calgary. They had
it in their industrial electrical section. They have a lot of neat items.
I initially debated putting on a numeric or alphabetic system. Where the
wiring also has a colored shrink wrap on top of it, I just cut the colored
tape a lot shorter. Man, these cars have very thin guage wire! The bulk of
the harness wiring measures out to be smaller than 18 guage. Still would
like to hear from someone about 1.) T/S Flasher, 2.) Hazard Flasher, and 3.)
Passing Light Relay. Larry.
