Diana,

You need to think about how you will use the car, and
how you like to drive.  Solex's are great, but really
in their element at high revs, and not real smooth on
start ups and tooling around town.  Great for speed,
and top end though.  For normal comute type driving, I
think you'll be more satisfied with well tuned SU's
that you will not have to fiddle with.  Just hard
choke til warm, then go.  Just one man's opinion.  If
you plan to race or to rip it, go for the Solex set
up, it is dynamite!
