#s don't lie, the 01' 5 spd is not faster than '00 5 spd. How can it be
faster when the 'thick rockers' & 'strengthening' weighs so much (2429
vs 2332 lbs) while motor gained only 2-4hp over '00?
Cognitive dissonance probably gave one the feeling that a club member's
'00 was. The '01 nicer seats are great, but is the new light worth the
huge premium? Not to mention the more complex VVT BS + the higher
compression may make the car a costlier investment... Finally, the
depreciation that will affect the '01s after the public gets a hold of
this news. *OUCH*
