well, I also have another SPL311 that I haven't been able to determine the
year of.. It's at a friends house and is a real basket case. it's definitely
a 68-70 but because a PO decided to customize it.. I haven't been able to
determine the year. We don't have titles for cars dating back before 1973.
It does have an entire drivetrain though (at least that's a plus). I still
don't know if this car is going to be worth restoring. I was thinkin it
might be a good candidate for a very modified car.
I don't think I have ever owned a car that gets the attention that my
roadster does. Even needing new paing and chrome in places. I have more
stoplight conversations than I thought possible. There is only one other
running roadster in Mobile that I know of so it is rare to find anyone who
even knows what it is.
