FWIW, the Miata IS the Roadster of the 90s with all the comfort of a modern
car. It'll run circles around a Roadster in every performance category. AND
I can use it in the winter without fear of rust and get parts for it!!!!!!
Let's start the flames but I've owned several Roadsters, driven in more and
have owned Roadsters for more than 20 years, at least. I can remember when
you could get every part needed - even fenders and grills!!
Yeah, I've driven in some fast Roadsters that will admittedly beat my stock
engine but if I throw on a Turbo forgedaboutit. Of course a turbo VG30 will
beat me but who cares. I don't race and am too old to drag race on the
street or go 140 on the highway.
I love my Roadster but also my Miata.
