Hey fellow list members,
Remember when I put out the call for the oil galley plugs for the 2litre
crank? Well no one responded and I think I know why. After an hour with my
machinist, we could not figure out the thread pitch and plug diameter. So I
went to a metric specialty nut and bolt place in Denver and one of the guys
said it must be a 3/8" - 19 BSP.He said this is not uncommon in Japanese
cranks. Any one know what BSP stands for.? The answer is in Phil's book in
the early chapters, I think. Anyway the crank is going back together after I
find the right tap for some of the holes.
