I have ordered some Panasport 15x6 wheels from Les & Dennis @ Classic
Datsun Motorsports (thanks for the help Dennis) and wanted to order some
tires to accompany them.
I was wondering if anyone has used http://www.tirerack.com before. If
so, does anyone have any opinions? The prices seem excellent compared to
prices I have been quoted by calling around town (even with the shipping
charges).
Currently I am thinking:
195/50ZR15 Dunlop SP Sport 8000 --- 4 x $73.00 = $292.00
Grand Total: $325.88 (with shipping)
Other Tire possibilities:
195/50ZR15 Yokohama AVS Intermediate --- 4 x $53.00 = $212.00
195/50WR15 Pirelli P7000 --- 4 x $53.00 = $212.00
195/50ZR15 Dunlop SP Sport 9000 --- 4 x $98.00 = $392.00
http://www.tirerack.com has a cool feature that allows people to make
comments on the tires for others to read. I would still rather hear the
advice/opinions from the people on this list.
BTW, I am upgrading tires/wheels due to the 5 speed VG30 transplant that
is nearing completion (without cutting/modifying the body). I'd like to
have some extra rubber on the road to help traction, etc.
