If I remember right the NASCAR guys and other small block chevy racers put a water line from the water pump and drill/tap a hole in the head between the 2 and 3 cylinder exhaust ports. This pulls out extra heat produced by having the two cylinders exhaust ports together. I don't know if the 1600 needs this - I don't think so. Phil SEROC |
