More tire info. Sidney Raper suggested checking with Coker Tire.
I did and they sell a 560-14 in a BF Goodrich. But when I looked
at the details of this tire, it stated it really was a 590 width
(not 560), and that it's OD was 24.6". (Coker is at Coker.com).
So to adjust this to our 560-14, I tried the following:
5.90" x AR x 2 + 14 = 24.6"
Solving for the aspect ratio, AR, I get 89.8%
Now, using 89.8% for our 5.60 tires, I get a tire OD of:
5.60 x 89.8% x 2 + 14 = 24.1"
So now I wonder if the Michelin cross reference chart
that Thomas saw was really for a 590 and not a 560.
Thomas, can you double check this????
