Tom,

I have a couple of NOS comp springs. Measured at 9" free length.
Are your springs tapered flat on both ends? If not, it might have been
cut.

Once you have the sway bar back in place, you'll notice it does limit
the droop of the a-arms.  As already pointed out, you may want to
add a limiting strap so limit the amount of droop you get on those
high speed bumps!
