I put the Bosch platinums in my Subaru 1800 gyrocoptor motor in about 1994.
I figured that the thin platinum electrode would be less prone to carbon
fouling. I just sold it last month and the last time I looked at the plugs
they were just fine. Couldn't really tell any performance
increase/decrease, was just worried about carbon fouling. It seems awful
hard for any carbon to attach to than little center electrode.
Just my experience,
