Yup, I know ! (I've been doing this roadster thing for about 14 years now !)
As I mentioned before, It is "trimmed" as a '69 ie:side markers, etc.
But anyone can add/change markers/fenders etc. (As evidenced by my '70, that
had mismatched fenders on it when I got it - http://members.aol.com/astonm
has then/now pics) Judging from the lack of a factory VIN plate, it is easy
to guess that this car was put together from misc bits. I was just trying to
sort out its origins.
