As it happens, the ABS car I mentioned in my email is, in fact, an all wheel
drive ABS Subaru Outback. When it snows that ABS brakes do their job. It
snows here about twice a year, the other 363 days the ABS brakes suck. I
far prefer non-ABS in normal driving.
