I really want to thank everyone for the wealth of information. To clear
up a few questions. I had a mild push when I started and it is of
course worse with the welded rear. I am hoping to loosen the front a
little to get a more comfortable driver feeling.

I do need to put stiffer front springs (this winter) in order to get
the front to rebound better. I have not lowered the car at all. I am
going to add a little weight to the rear this winter as well. I added
65 lbs to the front with the larger motor. I have put the battery all
the way in the rear. It sits right behind the trunk latch. I also run
with a full fuel load. I do have the traction rod the goes from the
body to the rear axle housing.

Calspeed, I am converting to disk brakes on the rear this winter. I had
the same concern about the aluminum drums and check everything after
each event. I am getting very good at taking things apart and putting
them back together.

Thanks again for all the information.
