This is in reference to Jim Tylers comment on getting the insurance
company to pay you what your cars worth.
If your insurance doesn't cover the full value of the vehicle. You have
the wrong insurance
If you don't use your roadster as a daily driver. Then you should look
into
collectors car insurance. There are several insurance companies out
there
that insure special interest vehicles like ours.
My vehicle is insured for $6,000 with no deductable, and full coverage
for $80.00 a year. I choose the replacement value, and the insurance
company asks you to send pictures of the vehicle. To confirm that the
vehicle is in good condition.
You can even insure a vehicle that is under restoration. You have to
show
pictures of the current condition of the car, and when your done you
send them pictures of the completed car.
My insurance company even sent me a fax with coverage for my car.
Before they even received my check; this allowed me to participate in a
cruise night.
