did you try to adjust the screw on the top of the steering box?  There is a 
screw adjustment with a locking nut that has to be loosened at the top of the 
steering box which can take some slop out of the gear.  Also make sure you 
have enough lube in the box, there is a white (probably grease covered) 
plastic threaded cover that will allow you to check.
