Hi Leigh

I'm sad to say the 67.5 2000 production line photo wasn't from the archives.
Brian & his wife Miho sourced this photo and the pic of the U20 engines on
test beds (with solexes & trumpets!) from Nissan's own archives in Japan.
I've never seen either photo anywhere else and these were both real 'finds'
for Brian's book. Needless to say I took copies. Brian spent 6 months in
Japan researching the book and apart from these photos and a couple of
others, the roadster material held by Nissan was disappointing.

The photos Brian used from the Register's archives were mainly brochure shots
from the DC3, Roadsters and the Silvia, together with some nice press photos
I hold - mainly exterior shots of the roadster series from the USA & Japan
plus some great shots of Mr K and his crew on the 1958 Mobilgas trial, Pete
Brock, his BRE cars and his crew. Four of the Five colour shots of the
roadster series were also from the archive. My favourite is the colour shot
of the Japanese 1500 Fairlady brochure.

If anyone's interested in Brian's 280ZX/300ZX book due shortly this has been
printed in Hong Kong at less cost by the same publisher and has far more
colour pics than the previous book. The proof had 111 errors of which all
but 2 have been corrected prior to going to print. Spot them if you can!

Regards again
