Brian wanted to include the word Roadster in the title for wider appeal, and
the original draft protective cover for the book included photos of the DC3
and a Roadster, as well as a 240Z. Unfortunately, Veloce, the publishers,
had final say over the cover and the title, hence the confusion. Brian did
well to get as much in about the Roadster as he did, as these great cars are
not at all well known over here in England.
Many of the photos for the roadster chapters came from the Classic Fairlady
Roadster Register archives and I have the drafts to the first 3 chapters.
The early part of the book does make interesting reading.
