Uh uh. Not NEARLY that easy. I have a '63 Studebaker whose title
clearly states '64!

Earlier cars were titled based on year SOLD, not year MADE. And
sometimes the dealers restamped the ID plates to change the apparent
manufacture year for unsold inventory!
