The fiberglass thing sounds good, but I got to ask the question- how hard are
good, straight metal fender to find?
I reason being......
On my way back from a good time held by the newly reformed MADROC ( JH, Mark,
Tom, Ian, oh, hell you know who you are) in Silver Spring, MD. I had to stop
for a quick haircut. On my way out of the parking lot, as I sat to make my
left into traffic, two Harleys approached from the left. First guy, eyeballed
the car and scooted in to the lot. Second guy, came in too fast, locked up
the rear brake and down he went. The bike slid into the driver's side fender
between the wheel and the door, crunching it pretty well. Nobody hurt,
thanks. But now ..... I need a fender, or should I say, the body shop needs a
fender. This is a no Bondo job. They are paying for it, and dammit, I want a
new fender!
Thanks, I needed that.
