I remember when the 401 Nailhead Corvair was in the local tradin' Times paper for MONTHS... No one would touch it and it was relatively cheap... The "mid-engine" sat in the back seat area uncovered and the whole lot smelled heavy of gas... Some aluminum chassis work (cover) and electric fans probably could have made it pretty decent though... Mark in St. Louis ps... Dan, I'm very interested to hear the flow bench results as I have some half finished mild 300 heads sitting here... > From: buick-rover-v8-owner@autox.team.net Wed Aug 23 10:59:51 2000 > Reply-To: "Jones, Daniel C" <Daniel.Jones@MW.Boeing.com> > Date: Wed, 23 Aug 2000 10:48:41 -0500 > To: buick-rover-v8@autox.team.net > Subject: RE: Strokers, etc. > > It was near the Illinois/Missouri border, north of St. Louis.
