Dan has built engines up to 5.0L, so he has sleeved engines. Dan is
fairly conservative in some areas, prefers to build engines he dosen't
have to worry about. He likes stroker motors for more displacement. What
he told me several years ago, was that the bores are not always where
they are supposed to be (core shift), and in many cases, the large
overbore required left a marginal amount of materiel surrounding the
sleeves.
Don't know Phil Baker, he may have a system that works.
