snippety....
You open your British Car-Japanese Sports Car -
Emergency Tool Kit - cellphone and credit card -
and commence dialing, while reading your position
from your wrist-portable GPS. You then open your
British Car Wicker Picnic Basket and remove the
lap robe, then pour yourself a cool or hot one,
depending on the season. You then settle down on
your folding camp chair, or shooting stick while
you catch up on the Sunday Times - as the tow
truck grows ever nearer.
Of course, if you were stranded here in Alberta
during winter, you would sit in the car, wrapped
in the blanket while you read the Times, with the
engine running - heater on full - after having
carefully parked so that the nose is upwind and
the passenger window is down slightly. You
might use the shooting stick and camp chair for
firewood, lighting it with the BBQ lighter
carried in the basket, if you run out of gas
while waiting.
Next question, please?......
John - Not enjoying the 111th consecutive day of
permanent snow this winter. Also not enjoying
the temperature of -23: F. Oh well, off to
shovel again. This will be the 6th time since
Sunday morning. Blecch.
