For a frozen clutch in the MGA, I think the preferred method is to put the rear axle on jacks, then start the car. With the car running (the rear wheels will be spinning) push down on the clutch then slam on the brakes. After a couple of trys the clutch should break free. My car has been sitting (although indoors) for a few years now and I'm sure I'll have the same problem... Paul |
