I don't know how much relevance this will have to the original
poster's TR6, but just in case...
When I bought my 1980 Spitfire, it came with a "factory-installed
radio" as a rather overpriced option. As to whether the radio is
Lucas, I'm not sure, though I doubt it. (I can't look at the radio
right now because it presently resides in a box in storage. Sorry.)
It does have a tiny BL logo on the faceplate, though.
The radio also came with a little manual, which I *do* have in front
of me. It's cover reads:
Jaguar
Rover
Triumph
Inc.
[BL logo]
[cute little picture of radio]
OWNER'S MANUAL
FOR
AM/FM RADIO
BLM 105060
As one might expect, the manual is written in refreshingly correct
english, unlike the manuals for the radios with which I later replaced
it.
As was suggested by an earlier poster, I now have no radio in the
car, preferring instead to listen to the (usually) happy sound of
the engine as I drive to and from work.
