Now that the interior has been stripped out of the TR6 I'm getting
ready to get the new parts together and put things right. Just a few
things which the collective wisdom might help with...

1) Seat Slides. The existing ones are a mess with torn screw
holes, rust, seized bearings, etc. and seem to be missing the
little tabs which mate with the seat catches at the back. Are
the tabs for the seat catches designed to bolt on or are they
actually part of the seat slide? Also, assuming the existing
slides are trash does anyone know where I might find new ones?
It's a '76 and I've had no luck with TRF and the local
        suppliers around Toronto.

2) Seat belts. As above, no one I've spoken to has 3 point
inertia reel belts for the beast... ideas?

3) Windscreen frame. I have to replace the crash pads all around
as the foam has disintegrated and the vinyl looks like
roadkill. Problem, as I see it, is the windscreen frame must
be removed to remove the top pad. The PO had some bodywork
done at some point and they welded a patch from the bottom of
the frame to the scuttle panel. I managed to break the weld,
remove the nuts from the frame pins and loosen the bolt on
each side which is visible where the top of the doors meet the
fender. The 3 bolts which are supposed to hold the tonneau
snaps on are not an issue. After all this the damn thing
        doesn't budge. Ideas?

4) Starter Solenoid. It's getting ready to blow judging from the
nice glow it gives off when the starter cranks. It seems the
only way to get it off is to remove the starter, unless
someone knows a better way. Problem for me is not enough
clearance under the car to get a decent length wrench in
there to get enough leverage to loosen the bolts. Looks like
the car has to be on a hoist to get the starter out and the
solenoid doesn't come off without the starter... am I right?

All suggestions and ideas will be considered and appreciated.
