I've puzzled over Bertie's personal vehicle as well. I don't think it's a
Bentley: you'll recall that the brat Clementina (Bobby Wickersham's niece)
bragged that her father had a Bentley which she probably wouldn't do if Bertie
had one. Also, the Bentleys of that era were *really big*. John Steed (of
_The Avengers_) drove one, if you can remember that. So does anyone know what
car Bertie drives?
My wife thought Bingo Little's big red Alvis was really cool. My favorite was
the Rolls dropping someone off (in front of the Drones club, I think).
BTW, if you liked the TV series, you may like the Jeeves/Wooster books
(by P.G. Wodehouse). The dramatization adds visual context and voices, but
loses Wodehouse's delightful narration.
