Can anyone exactly remember that Dave Berry transmissions (gearbox!) quote?
The one that goes some thing like "No-one knows where transmissions
originated, they just show at car factories complete with deranged
alien instructions". Or words to that effect.
No one replied to my request for info on Lucas high output generators/dynamos.
[Would a Crossley unit fit? - oops sorry]
Finally, another spelling plea: its pedal, not petal or peddle ...
