Mark,
Quite a few years ago I had to know some electro-chemistry where this
theory of reversing or at least protecting metals from corrosion was
taught. As far as I remember one would need a LOT of power to reverse or
even prevent a car from corrosion.
But I like the idea that with a wimpy pocket size battery this should
work. If it sells it works at least for the producer.
