The latest J.C. Whitney catalog (source of the automotive wild and whacky)
has an "Electronic Rust Inhibitor" advertised. Bear in mind that this
comes from the company that brought us ever-so-many awful "super econo
gas savers" and "rebuild-in-a-can" formulations. Anyhow, the claim is
that by sending a pulsed electrical charge through a couple of special
"cathodes" attached to strategic points on your chassis, rust can be
defeated - even in inaccessible places.
I know the theory is correct, but the application may be lacking here.

The other thing that I've had recommended to me for this kind of problem
is to put a tarp down on the floor and park the car on top of it. This
prevents moisture from coming up through the floor and attacking the
undercarriage.
