I was over at the local Britcar place the other day, checking to see
if my new/old rear fender had parted with its original badyshell. It
hadn't. Anyway the proprietor, one of the original founders of our
local club was charger various batteries. (Cold weather has finally hit
Arkansas) I learned a crucial step in battery maintainance. He said
you hook up the charger to one battery, and go inside and have an pint.
After four or five cars, you don't car if any of them start!
I picked up my new cylinder head and camshaft from the airport yesterday.
It took 336 pounds and three weeks to get a Piper 385 cam and a stage II
cylinder head shipped over here. I can handle paying less than $500 for
$1200 worth of parts. This head looks great! I hope it runs half as
good as it looks.
