I had the week off between Christmas & New Years, and this year it was mostly
rain free!
The weekend before the break, I managed to get the engine & transmission
installed. During the last week I:
% rebuilt the engine draincock & installed it
% installed the front shocks & the lower suspension bumpers
% Installed radiator with its & the heater's hoses
% Installed the front valence
% Installed the rear hard top mounts and trial fit the hard top
% INstalled a bunch of little odd & end parts including starter motor, & clutch
slave cylinder & its linkage.
I am now at the point where the TR3 is begining to look like a car. If I had
the $$$$, it would make sense to send it off to get the outside painted at this
point. For the first time, I'm trying to figure out what I can put on before
the outside gets painted instead of just grabbing the next part & putting it on.
Maybe I'll have a running TR3 for this summer's meets!
