A member of my local Triumph club is looking for a factory
hardtop for a TR6. Does anyone have one or know of one for
sale? You can contact me directly at
Bruce_Harding@ccm.hf.intel.com or call at 503-696-5208
(work) or 503-629-0716(home).
While I was on vacation I also found a 67 Triumph 2000 sedan
for sale (another club member) that I'm thinking of making
an offer on. The car is very solid and original. The only
rust I could find was some minor surface rust on the edge of
the trunk lid and at the drain hole in the front door. I
know the person that did some minor body work on the door.
He said the car very solid. I took it for a drive 2
seperate times and it runs great. The interior is orginal
and in very good shape. Every thing worked except the
windshield washer pump. The carpet in the front footwells
needs to be changed (If the light blue can be matched). The
car has overdrive that shifts great. Is there anyone out in
netland that knows anything about 2000's? They are asking
$4000. I'm thinking of offering $3000. British Car had a
short spread a couple of years ago and they listed a #1
example at $4300 and a #2 at $2500. Any feedback is
appreciated.
