striped wire

I've almost always ended up making my own from solid wire - I bought liquid
paint markers to paint the stripes, and made up a little jig to hold the
wire.

One place you could try is British Wiring Inc, 708 481 9050; they seem to
push harnesses and hardware, but might sell you a spool of wire. Let us
know!
