I was thinking of putting MAPPEAL on my '73 MGB GT's plates
but the little old man at the MVA information desk was flummoxed
by my request for the vanity plates form. So I have generic
ABC 123 plates. Besides, Chip would just say that MAPPEAL
doesn't belong on any car but a Lotus Elan of the appropriate
vintage.

I could protest, though, and say that my lbc _does_ have
"M(ale) appeal" (which is where Emma Peel's name came from.)

Maybe by the time I have to visit the MVA next, the LOM will
have found the proper forms.
