        Randy, I took your advice and tried powerbraking my mom's Chevy 
station wagon in the three gears you mention.  Drive worked as you said, 
but I didn't get to reverse cause when I tried neutral, the engine made 
loud noises and parts ended up on the lawn! Fancy that.  Now I won't be 
able to do any more brody-fests in the school parking lot, and mom's 
doing a lot of yellin.
