Made you look. :-)
Actually, it's not mine. A friend -- actually, he's our milkman
(milkmen in California? Mooooooooo!) -- left me the following
note with our three half-gallons of lowfat and four yogurts this
morning:
"Hey Kim & Scott --
I'm selling my '75 Midget.
- Runs good
- Looks good
- Needs master cylinder
- $500
Let me know if you know anyone. -- MTM"
(No, Mary Tyler Moore doesn't deliver our milk; his company name
is Michal the Milkman. Actually, his last name is Grycz, which makes
appropriate initials...)
He lives in Mt. View, I believe. Reply to me and I'll find out where
the car is and how to go about looking at it etc. I've never seen the
car, so I have no idea what "good" means in context.
Oh, also: Dick Nyquist, can you drop me a line? I'm learning to play
the banjo, and given your interest in music I thought you might know
someone who could help me out. (Anyone else, of course, is welcome
to help out as well!)
Thanks all.
