For those looking for something to do in the Bay Area this weekend, the MG
Owners Club and Jack London Square (in Oakland, CA) are sponsoring the first
annual MGs and Jazz in London on Saturday, October 15th. It's a gathering of
MGs from across Northern California with people's choice awards, live jazz
bands, raffle prizes, food and drink, and more. The $15 registration fee
includes a dash plaque, t-shirt, raffle ticket, and vendor certificates. The
event is scheduled from 10 to 4:
10:00 -12:00 Late registration and parking of cars in the Square
12:00 - 3:00 People's choice judging
12:00 - 5:00 Jazz bands on the Plaza
4:00 People's choice winners announced and prizes awarded
Raffle prizes will be announced at 12, 1, 2, and 3.
