So, sledge hammer put away, back-on-the-road-again......

With encouragement from, and thanks to Jay N/J, and Adrian J., took a
look at the rear rubber brake line, YUK, clogged 90% and the 1->2 union
in the back, Why not check here first,,,well, , the whole brake system
was obviously quite shot and un-rebuildable from the beginning...

So, replaced rear rubber line, cleaned rear lines and 1->2 union, and
presto....lots-o-pressure to the rear wheels, enough now that the rear
cylinders with new seals only, could not handle the pressure increase and
leaked pressure off the MC, and a little fluid, so NEW REAR cylinders, and
well the new pistons I put in the old front calipers, still would not
retract very well, so replaced with set of the rebuilts on my '71, and

VAROOM, back in business......with New Rebuilt MC, Rebuilt front
calipers, New rear cylinders, new seals and cleaned out pressure switch,
and new rubber brake lines all around......now for those metal brake
lines....

Got the copper brake line kit from VB, looks real good, they are from
AOUTOMEC in UK, and meet SAE standards for pressure, are pre-cut, have
correct brass fittings, and with DOT 5, should last longer than this car.....

Now to find the time to install these lines....HMMMMM.
