This is the Eighth Law of British Motoring: Do not boast of how, against type and reputation, your LBC has been so very, very, reliable. It will fail publicly and humiliatingly within 24 hours. You can cry "but it was just a loose wire!" ever after that, but the damage will be done. Speaking from much experience, Dan Parslow '79 Spitfire (Really amazingly reliable, honest. Urm, no it isn't running right now, but it's only the regulator, really...) '65 Vitesse (If the engine were actually in it, it would be really trustworthy I just know it) |
