Healey 3000 tonneau cover snaps

After two months of waiting for back order from Moss I finally
received the tonneau cover for my '63 Healey 3000 (BJ7).  
The cover has fittings for four Lift-the-dot fasteners across
the front where it is supposed to attach to the dash board.
Can any other Healey owners tell me how the Lift-the-dot studs
should be attached to the dash?
