I just recently purchased a 1967 Sunbeam Alpine. Being fairly new to the
world of British cars, I have a question about the dual carburetors. There
are two intakes on the carburetor manifold; one with a hose running from it
to the crankcase, the other is capped. Is this confirguration correct? Or
should the hose be split so it covers both intakes. The car seems to run
fine as is except for some hesitation while acclerating and shifting. Any
information on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
