A local "Buyer's Guide" for upstate NY and VT has the following cars
advertised. Their low mileage may make them interesting:
58 Nash Metropolitan Coupe with 37K miles; $3310. Jerry Simon Auto Sales,
Greenwich, NY (518) 692-2669. This looks like a clean car in the postage
stamp sized picture.
69 MGB Roadster. "10K miles, NO RUST. $2300". Adirondack VW Hobby Shop,
Rt. 9, Ausable Chasm, Keeseville, NY. (518) 834-7143. Before everyone
gets excited, the above description is below a picture that shows the car
to have been hit rather hard in the right front. The picture, of course,
is a 3/4 LEFT front view. I wonder if the repair cost would not be
greater than the cost of a new shell.
I have no connection with either seller, have not seen the cars, cannot
vouch for them, don't want to go see them, etc. etc. Caveat emptor, and
so forth.
